The purpose of creating this new members’ group is to enable motivated young people all over Greece to learn about contemporary environmental issues and to participate on a voluntary basis in activities aiming at the protection of seas and coasts.

HELMEPA Cadets are provided with a wealth of information on marine ecosystems and their importance for life on our planet, the problems threatening our seas and coasts, shipping and marine sciences, as well as career opportunities in marine professions.
